Anat Sapan MD ("we," "us") operates doctoranat.com. This policy explains what information this website collects and how we use it. Medical information you share as a patient is protected under HIPAA and described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.

Information you give us. When you use our contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and anything you choose to write. Our discovery-call questionnaire asks only about your symptoms; it does not ask for your name or contact details. If you continue to book, scheduling takes place in our secure patient system, Jane.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic technical data: browser type, device type, pages visited, referring website, and approximate location derived from your IP address. We use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the site. We do not use advertising pixels or remarketing tags, and we do not use this data to identify you.

How we use it. To respond to your inquiry, schedule appointments, improve this website, and comply with the law. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Service providers. We share information only with vendors who help us run the practice and this website: Jane App (scheduling, patient portal and medical records), Tally (symptom questionnaire), Google (analytics and spam protection), and Fullscript (supplement ordering, only if you choose to use it). Embedded videos and podcasts from YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify and Apple may set their own cookies when you play them. We do not send marketing email newsletters.

Health information. Please do not include detailed medical information in the contact form. Once you become a patient, your health information lives in our secure patient portal, not on this website.

Your choices. You can disable cookies in your browser settings or opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Our site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. California residents may request access to or deletion of personal information we hold about them by contacting us below.

Children. This website is not directed to anyone under 18.

Changes. We will post any updates here with a new effective date.
